The Riolu and the Ruby - pages 1-2

What's this? Isn't it my very first comic in Deviantart? Fantastic, eh? Before I go any further I must tell you that the comic's plot doesn't belong to me. It's based on a short fan fiction ([link]) written by using my characters. I really recommend you to read it if you haven't yet. unless you want to avoid spoilers follow the story through the comic, then postpone.

After I read the fan fic for first time, I got extremely addicted to it and read it over and over again. Just a few days ago I felt that I must draw comic about the story, and here we are! so ~PokemonHaloFan, If you are reading this, I thank you from bottom of my heart for being my da friend and writing such a breathtaking and heart-warming fan fic about my characters.

So here's the main plot: After being once again bullied and tortured by Devon, Rama finds a perfect gift which could help him to confess his love to his romantic interest Ruby. But it will not be easy, since Devon seems to have his eyes on the item too. The story contains action, romance, drama and battle between good and evil. As artist, I have taken freedom of making little changes to the story, like making some scenes more humouristic and adding some other elements. But I'll do my best to stay as loyal as possible to the original plot and feature all the same elements and dialogue it has.

So about the first two pages, there isn't any interesting action yet (except for the little cliffhanger in the end of page 2), just showing what the milieu looks like. I must say that those fir trees covered in snow remind me of my native place.
